Question : Local Network Keeps Asking To Login While Accessing Another PC
Hi,
I have 2 Windows PCs connected to the same router, one Windows 2000 and the other one Windows XP.
They are configured in the same workgroup, so I can share the printer (printer is connected to the Win2K PC), but each time I try to connect to that printer from the XP PC, it fails. I need to manually enter the login & passwords by double clicking that PC's icon, after that I can use the printer.
When I try to access the shared folders in the XP PC from the Win2K PC, no login is required(which is what I wanted).
Can anyone tell me how to fix this?
Thanks.

If there is no password on the XP user account being used, set one. Then add the same user account & password to the 2000 desktop.
