Question : fat32

My hdd which is 8.3GB in size has been partitioned into two drives, each close to 4GB. Now the partitions hv been created in fat32 and Windows95 has been installed on the c drive. The problem is that now Windows NT Server Version is not being installed. The error given is that check C:\ if formatted or no. NT installation is unable to continue. Is it because the hdd is partitioned by fat32??

Thanx and Regards,
Amita.

Answer : fat32

NT does not support FAT32.
It goes on either normal FAT or NTFS.
If you want NT on the system, then you need to reformat one of your partitions, or create another with Partition Magic and either leave it as FAT or let NT convert it to NTFS.
