Question : What are the hardware requirements for a 60-phone Trixbox system?

I would like to put in a 60-phone Trixbox system and I would like to know some suggestions and facts about what type of hardware I will need to accomplish this.  The phones will be Aastra 9133i and a few Aastra 57i.  The trunks would be all SIP,  probably over 10 trunks.  What type of processor and how much memory would be required for this type of operation?   What other hardware specs do you recommend?  What brand and model line of server should we get to accomplish this?

The requirements are not very high,  check out this link for the trixbox appliances for comparison,

As you can see any decent modern server will do fine.  Just get something reliable.  Probably one of the biggest weaknesses of Asterisk is that it runs pretty good on crap equipment which leads to unstable systems.

Only keep in mind if you are planning to do anything out of the ordinary like maybe recording all calls or running other things on the server you may want to go more powerful and maybe with more disk space.
