Question : DCHP Server Handing out IP Addresses to Weird Devices

Alright, I know that it is not really possible, but it is still happening.  When I look at my DHCP server I am seeing entries for things like iPhones and Blackberries, which should not be happening.  How are these devices getting IP addresses from a hardwired network if they are just wireless?  Any ideas?

Answer : DCHP Server Handing out IP Addresses to Weird Devices

Are the users plugging their iPhones or Blackberries into their computers with USB cables? If they are syncing their devices to their computers, it's possible that the devices are requesting IP addresses in that way. I've seen that happen before with Windows Mobile phones.
