Question : What syntax do I use when configurin option 252 in DHCP server?

My question is what syntax do I use in the string when setting up WPAD in DHCP.
example: "http://proxy:8080/Wpad.dat".  

In the placeholder that says "proxy" do I use the Netbios name, FQDN or IP address of the server?

You should use the FQDN. Also be sure to have wpad.dat in lowercase otherwise the wpad request will fail.
