Question : Mac Bridge MiniPort
I use Windows Xp
I looked at my Network screen and I see the Internet Icon and also the network card icon but all of a sudden I see Mac Bridge Miniport (Network Bridge). I do not know where it came from or how to get rid of it.
I do have a router and network 4 computers. I am able to get on the internet.
Thanks
Phil
Answer : Mac Bridge MiniPort
This is a microsoft network driver and may be used with certain types of tunneling software. Internet Connection Sharing can install this driver depending on the version of Windows. This driver is used to link multiple network adapters together at a much lower network layer. If you have ever had Internet Connection Sharing on this computer and no longer use it then you can safetly delete this network connection. Depending on what version of Windows you are running there are different ways to do it.
