Question : gmail imap to Outlook 2003
I have two gmail accounts using IMAP to link with Outlook 2003 under Windows XP and a mobile PC device. One of the gmail accounts generates this message during Outlook Send/Receive:
Outlook error: Your IMAP server wishes to alert you to the following: Too many simultaneous connections. (Failure)
Then I can NOT log into this gmail account from Outlook. If you shutdown the PC and re-start, the gmail IMAP will work for 3 minutes, and then the same pattern. I'd appreciate any suggestions. Thanks, - Rod
Answer : gmail imap to Outlook 2003
You can have them both configured for imap but only actively using 1 at a time.
