Question : User can't access mapped drives?
A user on my network can access mapped drives through non SSL VPN but not through SonicWall SSL-VPN.
He uses windows Vista. We have two Windows 2003 servers. On the SSL VPN cpnnection, he can access a shared folder on server 1, but he cannot access 2 shared folders on server 2.
I tried deleting the mapped drives and they won't leave. I get a message saying "drives don't exist."
A user experienced this before, but he added an exception using server 2's IP address - on his firewall software, and he was fine. The user having this problem doesnt have any firewall software. Is there a way to create an exception for server 2's IP address on windows firewall?
Please bring any ideas at all to the table...much appreciated.
Answer : User can't access mapped drives?
Can he path to it by IP address? If so, maybe it is a name resolution problem.
