Question : I need to point <a rel="nofollow" href="http://www.MyDomainName.com" target="_blank">www.MyDomainName.com</a> to my internal Exchange server
Hello Valuable Ones,
I'm new to the whole SSL aspect of things, but in setting up OWA and SpiceWorks, I've been directed to obtain and install a SSL Certificate for port 443. I did that and set the cert for
www.MyDomainName.com
, and installed it. I haven't tried it from the outside yet, but on the of the WAN inside I get an error when I type
www.MyDomainName.com
into a browser. I've been told that I need to make a connection in my internal DNS server that points requests for
www.MyDomainName.com
to my Exchange server BACE. I was hoping someone could guide a neophyte like me through that?

In your internal DNS, you need to create a new Forward lookup zone for 'MyDomainName.com' and point it to the correct server where you have the website...
