Question : Domain and Workgroup ?

I have a home wireless network, and a desktop running windows 2000, connected to a workgroup called "workgroup"... I also have a laptop i use on my home network, but because my laptop is also used at work on a Domain, inorder to connect to shared folders at home I have to change the laptop from a domain to a workgroup... even though I am not using the domain at home...

How can I get it so that my laptop knows to connect to the domain when I am at work, and the workgroup when I am home ? w/ out having to reset and change from domain to workgroup and vice versa?

please help
Thanks

Answer : Domain and Workgroup ?

There's absolutely no need to change the domain membership when trying to access shares at home. Leave your notebook in the work domain, and when you start it at home and want to connect to a share on your home workgroup, enter your home user's credentials in the drive mapping dialog.
