Question : TCP/IP corruption -- cannot get address
Hi all,
I have a server running Server 2003 with Terminal Server. Yesterday my users were suddenly kicked out of the server (lost connection).
I took a look at the server, and to my dismay, both network cards were disabled in Device Manager. I re-enabled them, but couldn't access anything on the network, couldn't ping anything, nor could the server be pinged.
I removed the drivers, reinstalled the drivers... same issue. I updated the drivers with newer ones, but this didn't resolve it either.
Here's what I've done so far in order:
1) replaced drivers
2) uninstalled reinstalled drivers completely
3) swapped network cables, nic port on motherboard, and switch port
4) swapped motherboards
5) reset the tcp/ip stacks
what the hell else should i do? i'm at a loss!!!!
