Question : How do you remove the "Limited or no connectivity" message?

Ever since the proccess lssas.exe (status code 0) unexpectedly corrupted during an installation of Comodo Firewall Pro V3 and forced me to shut down, and it closed explorer.exe, so I couldn't run 'shutdown -a command'. I lost access to the internet on my desktop after the reboot. (Windows XP Professional).

The following things I tried :
- netsh winsock reset and repair
- netsh int ip reset resetlog.txt.
- Disabling McAfee Enterprise 8.5i and Killing processes with a rootkit unhooker
- Running in safe mode with networking
- On the LAN Icon, under the support tab, clicking on repair
- Resetting Winsock using regedit
- Rechecking TCP/IP Properties have automatic settings
- Using third party software to reinstall TCP/IP
- No Virus/Malware/Software/Firewall/Proccess/Spyware is preventing my internet connection
- Resetting my Router (D-Link) and Modem
- Connecting wirelessly, or directly with modem (RCA)
- Using IE's Diagonsis tool to reset Winsock catalogs [3x]
- Checking in device manager [No Hardware failures]
- Checked HOSTS file
- Killing the lssas.exe proccess
- System restore [failed]
- Disk Check if there is any corrupted files
- Ping tests (No responses)
