Question : Can't share resources on Wireless Network
I have just installed a wireless network between a PC and laptop. I can access the Internet on the laptop, but I cannot access the resources of other PC's on the network. I have checked the workgroup name on the laptop and it is correct. I can share the resources of the PC's on the network between the PC's, but not with the laptop, so the problem must lie in the wireless connection. I have tried pinging and that, too, is unsuccessful. The PC's run WinXP and the laptop runs Win98.
Hope someone can give me some troubleshooting ideas. Thanks.

One thing to try would be to get rid of any unessesary protocols as they can cause this type of problem. All you need to share resources on a microsoft network is TCP/IP you don't need IPX or Netbeui at all. In fact netbeui can cause a lot of problems because if you have two computers running tcp/ip and only one runs netbeui then they won't be able to talk succesfully because the one with netbeui will try to use that first instead of tcp/ip. I suspect that is what is causing your laptop to be unable to access the resources.
