Question : Netware 6 SP 5 partition/pool question

I added another HD to my existing hardware array and netware recognized this new space as "free space" fine.  The problem is that whenever i attempt to partition it or to use this free space to increase the size of an existion pool via consoleone i get the error "the operation was not completed. Error code:{0}526.  Whenever I attempt to do the same thing via the web console i dont get any errors, but nothing happens.  No matter what i do the free space isn't used.  The file system is NSS.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

In C1, in the server properties, Media tab, Devices screen, do you see more than one device?  If not, go to the "patitions" screen and click "new." to create another partition on the free space on the existing device, making sure you have it set to create an NSS partition, and that space is reserved for hotfix area in about the same percentage as the original partition for the pool.

If you do see another device has been created for your free space, you'll have to initialize it before you can partition it, and it has to have an NSS partition before you can add it too the pool.  Some RAID arrays create another device for the additional space rather than expanding the original device.
