Question : XP Pro different network profiles.. how??

How can I create different network profiles? My laptop (using Windows XP Professional) has a configuration in the office for the network and internet. When I travel on a business a trip and want to connect to the internet in a hotel, I have to change all the DNS settings and other network/internet values. After I go back to the office, I have to change them to the original settings yet again.

How can I change back and fourth automatically/easily between different network profiles and settings? Any help is appreciated.. thanks a lot!

What are you changing the values to/from?

Are you switching between different static values or is one of them using the 'obtain address automatically'?

Also, when on a business trip, do you use a dia-up connection? If so then you should not need to alter the settings for your network ( LAN ) connection!

Are you referring to Proxy server settings?

If you could post precisely what you are changing and to/from, it would help greatly!
