Question : Lotus notes archiving

   Since i have archiving rule in my Lotus domino, those emails which have attachments more than 500 or more cannot be archived. Any reason why those emails which have attachments cannot be archived?

yes you are right but if the client machine is not accpeting this new update/upgrade then what is the solution.
