Question : Domino Server 6.5.1 Aaaarrggghhh!!!!

So we might have a small problem with notes......
 1x lonely server running Domino Server 6.5.1
Server running
All user.id and admin.id have lost permission to access any databases and the server.
Admin.id password ok, just access denied to connect to the server (using domino admin)
 Expiry of Ids confirmed (admin.id - 2020)
My Q:
 How would I re associate an admin ID with the server if I have no IDs that can access the server (other than the server.id). What might have caused this error and what can I do to not run into this trouble again? Thanks in Advance

Does sound like the server document has had access rights changed in the security tab to not allow your users access.

The recommndeation as above. (Backup names.nsf)
Shutdown server, copy names.nsf to worksattion and open locally, go to servers view and locate relevant server document.
Select security tag and check the fields (
Access server:       Not access server:      
)
If unsure of correct setting then use blank in both fields and it will allow all certified users access.
Save document, close client and copy the names.nsf back to the server and start it up again. and see if it shows the same errors.
