Question : How to stop asterisk dumping core files

Hello,

Currently when i start asterisk using /etc/init.d/asterisk start my asterisk keep dumping core files in tmp. I dont know whats happening but i see that asterisk starts with switch -g.

/usr/sbin/asterisk -f -vvvg -c

Where can I change that so it will start without -g.

You can edit the file /etc/sbin/safe_asterisk to change the startup parameters.

I doubt changing the option will stop it from crashing. Make sure you are running the latest version of asterisk.
