Question : Outlook auto-sending email while typing
Good Day Experts,
I have a client that uses Outlook 2003 with a POP 3 account. He has an intermittent problem with emails being randomly sent while he is still typing the email. He believes it has something to do with a "U" or "Y" sequence but has not been able to pinput which (if either is the cause).
I looked at the settings on the stickey keys and turned any and all stickey key settings off. I attempted to send an email pushing various sequences of letters (Y,U,T, I ect) and could not force the email to send early. I thought that fixed the issue.
It didn't. He emailed me today saying it is still happening. My question is has anyone heard of this or seen it? Is there a sequence of letter combinations which can force an email to send without hitting the send button (or send/receive or any other "F" key)? Is there something I can turn off that will stop this from happening. It is the President of the company and it doesn't look very good for him to send random emails.
Thanks for any help you can provide
Answer : Outlook auto-sending email while typing
No, there is nothing to do with Y or O. If it is - replace keyboard at once :)
