Question : Using Horde/IMP with virtual hosting (virtusertable

i've got a server that has about 50 domains on it (email domains) and i have been working to set it up to be basically an email hosting server.  it uses the virtusertable to define what user accounts map to what email addresses.  i've installed horde and imp to be the web client for the system but whenever i try to send emails out from horde/imp, it gives me a 'cannot send from [email protected] error' message which i think means that it isn't looking at the virtusertable to see who teh user should send as (i know my old server i'm replacing does do this but i dotn know how and its version of horde is 3 years old).  so i guess teh question is how do i set up imp/horde to look at the virtusertable in /etc/mail to determine someone's sending address?
