Question : Tom Tom Navigator 3 with my Dell Axim X5 - stopped working

Hello

I have been using Tom Tom (TT) Nav(igator) 3 with my Dell Axim X5 for 1 week with no problems until recently....I turned it on as usual and plugged into its GPS holder and the 'I'm working' spinning circle was in the middle of the map and no navigation was happening. I exited tt Nav 3 and took the pda out of the holder, turned it off, replaced the pda turned on and tried to fire tt3 up. The usual 'I'm working' spinning circle came up briefly TomTom Navigator appeared at the top of the screen, followed by 'Frame' the screen flickered and then took me back to the today screen. TT3 wouldn't fire-up! I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the software but this has had no effect.I cannot get it to run anymore, it seems as though something is missing required to run the programme, but how can that be if I have reinstalled? I have tried using two different SD cards.

Please help

Answer : Tom Tom Navigator 3 with my Dell Axim X5 - stopped working

Well usually there is no memory leaks in Pocket PC's.... and since you are using one of the most used software in PDA navigation so it is almost sure that it doesnot contain memory leaks..... Have you contacted Tom Tom for the problem? They might help you out.... Alos try to install the software on you main memory and not on a SD card.... Also try to unplug the GPS and then start TT... Also try to disable IR before running the software..... These are the small steps that I will certainly do to find out the problem......

Have you done the soft reset using the following procedure??? andis it not working????
