Question : What is the most Secure Desktop Remote Control Connection Software?

Hi - I have been trying to find the most secure desktop remote software - I need to access my home PC from Work - so far logmein free seems like a great deal.

Not sure if there is a catch to it being free.

Looking for the best value and what is the most secure.
