Question : Using wild cards in a MAC address exclusion
We woulld like to have our IP phones on a unique subset using MAC address exclusions. Rather than type the entire MAC address we would like to use wildcards to exclude all of the manufacturers IP phones and give them an address in a differnt subset:
Example: currently all PC's are in 172.16.4.1-254 with a subnet mask of 255.255.0.0. We would like to exclude 000AAA****** from this scope and assign them an address range of 172.16.100.1-254
Any sugestions on how to accomplish this using Windows 2003 for DHCP?
