Question : Domino Directory Problem

I am having a problem when I register a new user on the server and then go to the client PC to run the setup.  After the initial screen of entering the User Name and Domino server, as soon as I enter the password it comes back with this error:  Server Error: entry not found in index  As far as I can tell the client is referencing the domino directory (names.nsf) on the server at this point to check for an entry.  I have tried fixup and compact on that database but neither worked.  I don't really know where to go with this.  Thanks for the help.

Answer : Domino Directory Problem

You need to check that the new user has been registered correctly
Open the database 'Admin Requests' on the server
In the left hand menu select the option 'Requests/All By Action'
In this view select the category 'Recertify Person in Domino Directory'
Expand this category, your new user should be the last person in this category

If the user is not here, go to the Server Administration console and enter the command 'Tell Adminp process new' that should do the trick
