Question : Create and test an Agent in Asterisk?

I want to test agent account in Asterisk, AFAIK, I need to create an user account as usual, for example 1111 in SIP.conf. then, I open the agents.conf and add a line such as:
agent => 1111, 5096, Name of Agent.
After that, I can use this account 1111 to login to the Asterisk through softphone and this account at this time is an agent account. Please correct me if I'm wrong!

The username you create in sip.conf is completely different and unrelated to the agents. You just need to make sure the SIP phone is configured with the same account details as in sip.conf.

You then create an agent. Put the agent in a queue.
Then you need extensions in extensions.conf creates so people calling in are placed in the call queue and to allow the  user to log in and out as an agent. For an example have a look at
