Question : URGENT: Export Email from imap connected Server to Text File
I have an urgent need to export a mailbox on my iMail system to a text file. I need a fast way to do this. I can connect to the mail server via imap only. Ideally I am looking for a script that will allow me to get this handled by say connecting via imap, pulling the data and converting it to text and saving without the intervention of outlook or gmail, etc. I have used outlook to connect and then export the data to disk but this is very cumbersome. I am a unix person and would prefer to use the power of one of my high end servers to handle this for me and cut processing time down.
