Question : Enable LMHOSTS Lookup is Unchecking Itself on the WINS Address Tab

Under the Advanced TCP/IP Settings on the WINS tab there is a check box for Enable LMHOSTS Lookup.  The problem I am having is that on some of my users laptops this box is unchecking itself for no apparent reason.

This only started when I started upgrading users to SP2 (they are all XP Pro) or on the new laptops that have SP2 already loaded.

I am reasonably sure my users are not doing this - it happens on my laptop too.

Any ideas?

Answer : Enable LMHOSTS Lookup is Unchecking Itself on the WINS Address Tab

SP2 adds some 5000 entries to the group and user policies.  I know its in there, but i cant tell you where (I dont have admin access to my local domain to check)
