Question : IBM Web facing

Hi,
I am a newbie when it comes to iSeries, apache, websphere studio client and alike products. My company have some legacy applications which are built with rpg over as400 that we need a web interface for. I am quite good with interfacing so i have been giving tasks to create web interfaces for these applications. Can somebody here get me giong on webfacing. Or provide me good resources on this stuff. Any sort of help is appreciated. What components and software will i need to install my computer in order to start working. Is that really hard?

Answer : IBM Web facing

WebFacing Tools is a component of WebSphere Development Studio Client (WDSC).  Install the WDSC client, and then visit BM's WebFacing page for WDSC product walk-through's and Webfacing demonstrations.

Then check out the Webfacing documentation:

Finally, there are some great IBM Redbooks that cover Webfacing and other WDTS topics.  Find the ones that match your OS version:

As far as" Is it hard?", I'd have to say that if you have never done any web development before, moving legacy applications to the web isn't a trivial task.  You might consider bringing in an experienced developer to get you pointed in the right way.  It will probably save you in the log run.
