Question : How can I tell if a laptop is wireless?

I know this is a simple question, but I know ZERO about wireless.

I've been asked if our office laptops are wireless.  I have no clue how to check that?  Do I look at Network connections?  Is it something on the bottom right of the taskbar that says if I'm connected?  I really don't know & would rather look dumb here than at work!!

you should look for a key on th mainboard which enable/disables
the wireless lan and a lamp which shows the active status.
if there are no driver installed for wlan you almost can't see
if the notebook support it. also have a look for a small image
with some waves case
