Question : Router - Best bang for your buck

Experts,

I need to purchase a router for an implementation. Requirements are: wireless, firewall capabilities, port forwarding, DHCP, NAT, maybe VPN. I want to spend under 300 dollars. What are my best options? I am trying to stay away from Linksys and Dlink.

TIA

Answer : Router - Best bang for your buck

If you rule out linksys and dlink i would suggest you go for cisco. It cost more, but you also get a lot more stable product. If this is for production use ie in an office environment and you want to set it up once and dont hear from it again, i would go for cisco. I have used a lot of linksys products too, but they arent as stable.

In my oppinion, i go for cisco, and i earn the difference in cost by saving working hours afterwards.
