Question : Windows 2003 Terminal Services Group Policy
|
|
I am using a Windows 2003 Terminal Server and I am trying to use group policy to redirect the user's My Documents folder to thier Terminal Services home directory. I have a share created called "Users" and I have created the hoem directorys for the users, and I have gone into Group Policy and redirected their My Documents to their Home Directory, however the My Documtents folder is not being redirected. It remaind pointed at c:\Docemtents and Setting\[user]\My Documents, and since I an using roaming profiles they will loose thier documents when they log off. Can someone tell me what I am doing wrong. I would also like someone to tell me what security should be on the share and on the folders. I am using roaming profiles and the security get placed perfectly on the profiles folders when they are created, however it's not being created properly on the users folders.
