Question : how to connect a pc to the internet through another pc

Hi, anyone out there know how to connect a pc to the internet through another pc which is attach to a router. I'm currently using ADSL at home. And this 2 pc is connected using cross cable. So how do I configure my pc to connect to the internet in both win 98 and NT platform.
