Question : Force IE 6 to use one Network connection over the other
Here is the story, I've got a machine that has two NICs in it, each one has a different ISP to the net. Is there a way to force IE to only use one of the connections besides disabling one or unplugging one. I need to have both connected for networking reasons to a LAN, but I would prefer to have it use only one connection.
Thanks

> route ADD 157.0.0.0 MASK 255.0.0.0 157.55.80.1 METRIC 3 IF 2 destination^ ^mask ^gateway metric^ ^ Interface^ If IF is not given, it tries to find the best interface for a given gateway. At a command prompt, type "route print". Use the above command and copy what you have for the lan nic, replacing the metric with something higher. Your system will use the lowest number route first. Or do what anupnellip said....
