Question : Can a Netg ear Wireless Router MR814 Act as Hub Not Router?
I have a MR814 Wireless Router from Netgear. Is it possible for this device to work as a hub and allow me to keep my two machines working with the two static IP addresses I have been assigned through my ISP? As it stands now, I have set my router to one of the two IP addresses and have set my two machines up to be DHCP. I understand the security concerns, but was not sure if I could set the router up to be a passthrough for wireless purposes only.

No, you have to go through the router. Your computers need a gateway out to the internet. Your current setup is the best way for you to connect as the router is doing NAT which keeps you secure and it also means you can connect up more computers in the future if required. Why do you want to change the setup?
