Question : Dialup VPN Client that is will work with Juniper Netscreens

Hi,

Can anyone recommend a VPN client other than Junipers own Netscreen remote client?

I am currently using the netscreen remote, but find that it is a bit flakey and was wondering if anyone could recommend anything else that is compatable with Netscreen firewalls?
I should also say i dont want to use the native Windows VPN client and would a 3rd party client.

Well the Juniper client is actually a Safenet client sold as OEM; many other vendors do that, like Netgear and Watchguard. If you wish you can download and install the latest client from Safenet and see if you are happy with it.

In terms of support let me tell you, no vendor would support any other VPN client other than they package; however, if you are not bothered about support you can use any IPSec client available in the market, provided you know how to configure it. Please do not use any vendor specific clients like Checkpoint securemote or Linksys smart vpn clients.
