Question : How do I tell XP to use one of the two Etehrnet interfaces onboard?
This client has an PC running XP Pro and there is one application installed that uses a proprietary interface that is actually a second Ethernet interface. So when I do ipconfig I see two Ethernet interfaces with two different IP address ranges:
Ethernet adapter 1:
192.168.1.2
Ethernet adapter 2:
172.16.1.110
How do I tell Windows to use Ethernet adapter 2 as its gateway to the rest of the LAN and the Internet? I thought about adding a route in the routing table but I'm not sure that's the best solution or even possible. Thanks!

You should not need to. WinXP should see the ip it is looking for, and match it to the correct interface. Mine works that way when I have wireless for internet, and pugged into a local network. Try removing tha gateway on the dedicated interface.
