Question : Internet Radio Broadcasting through iTunes or realplayer or MP3 player or Windows Media Player

I am very new on this Technology area
I have server, but I don't know how can I connect it through iTunes  or other applications like MP3 player, Real Player and Windows Media Player

is there any website that describe this technology?
how do i put all my music so that I can broadcast them? do I need software to build it? what Software do I need?

There is a widely used software for this purpose which is SHOUTCAST
and is very simple to setup, all you need is download the server (www.shoutcast.com) install it in your server (which could be either windows or linux or freebsd) and then download the "dj tools"  and the winamp mp3 player, so you can broadcast your music and have your internet radio station
