Question : Server 2003 is running out of space

Hi,

I recently have problem with the exchange server. we installed server 2003 on C drive and Exchange server on D drive. However the drive that is full is C drive. However, the solution here is not to have a bigger C drive as I have been having approx. 2 Gb free on the C drive and that had been fine until the weekend.

Those 2 Gb has been filled with "SOMETHING" and now has 23Mb left. I didn't install any new programs or any patches. So can anyone please tell me know where should I check ? and what possibly cause this ??     this happened over the weekend ...only  2 days that there is no one using it ...

Thanks

Answer : Server 2003 is running out of space

These are SMTP logs, generally used for troubleshooting purpose, you may delete them, (If you want to keep the files for any reason, zip the files and move to another drive), this doesn't create any issues.

Refer this article for more details.

The second folder is Catalog folder for Symantec Backup Exec, Catalogs are files which contain information about what files have been backed up. You may move the folder to another drive.
