Question : Need hosting provider that can have HTTP automatically redirect to HTTPS

I need help finding a web hosting provider that can provide redirection from HTTP to HTTPS.  I currently have mydomain.com.  When users type in http://mydomain.com I want it to automatically direct to https://mydomain.com.  I want all users going to the secure site.

I currently have hosting at Network Solutions, but I can't find a solution with them.  I don't have access to rewrite headers.  I can't write a PHP script to redirect because HTTPS and HTTP seem to be listening on the same ports and I don't have access to all of the Apache environment variables.

An example of what I'm looking for is what Paypal does.  If you type in http://paypal.com, you end up at https://paypal.com.

After multiple phone calls and emails to Network Solutions we found out that it's not possible to redirect HTTP to HTTPS with their shared web hosting packages due to their SSL proxies.  I upgraded to their Virtual Private Server solutions and it works great now.
