Question : Multiple bootpdhcprelay ip's
|
|
I have a PowerConnect 6248 with a server and a workstation VLAN's In the server VLAN I have 2 DHCP servers with different subnets (in the same scope) for the workstations VLAN.
I want to create 2 IP helpers for the workstation VLAN to the DHCP servers. However, when i want to create an helper-address for port 67 it gives me an error: "DHCP/BOOTP packets are handled in DHCP relay"
I only seem to be able to create 1 bootpdhcprelay address.
Is there any way to accomplish this, without using an other device in each VLAN as an DHCP relay?

Resolved it by adding a second NIC in each DHCP server and attached it to the Workstation VLAN.
