Question : REMOTE QUEUES ON AS400 PRINTJOB DISAPPEARS IF PRINTER OFF

Finally got the remote queues to work on as400, but if a file is sent to the queue and the printer is not on the file which can not be saved simply vanishes into space.
I am sending a bank receipt from the program on the as400 to a epson dot matrix printer equiped with a built in epson print server using a remote  queue.

there should be plenty of memory on the epson print server to store the message but given the way remote queues work on the as400 no message appears on the as400 queue and if you turn the printer on the receipt is gone.

two things anyone know anything about controlling the as400 remote queue and is there anyway of stopping the receipt from disapearing into never never land.

Can you create a queue on another machine between the epson and AS/400. I have created remote queues on my Windows machine.
