Question : Structure of folder tree and permissions

Let's suppose a structure of folder tree where: A --> B --->C (Where C is a folder inside B, and B is a folder inside A).
Let's suppose that user X has to have certain permission (for example to modify) in C, being A the shared resource.

Is it necessary to grant to Mr X permissions in A and in B in order that he could come to C?, ( For example list folder content) or its enough that he writes the complete route.

Has someone response to my doubt?

Answer : Structure of folder tree and permissions

>>Is it necessary to grant to Mr X permissions in A and in B in order that he could come to C?
NO!
You could share permission directly to any folder you want to assign Mr X with.

eq:
Mr X
Mr Y

Folder A   ------------------- share permission to mr Y (would get A,B,C)
              Folder B
                            Folder C -share permission to mr X (would get C only)

Cheers!
