Question : HP COMPAQ NX 6110 WITH INTEL PRO WIRELESS 2200BG DOES NOT LOGON TO DOMAIN

Hi, I have set-up a domain and I own a laptop HP made, 6110 model. Although I can join the WINDOWS 2000 Domain by using the laptop's lan adaptor, I can not log-on by using the WLAN adaptor(INTEL PRO SET WIRELESS 2200). As I figured out the connection to the WLAN happens only after the user is logged on that's why I can access the internet a short while after log-on. Any ideas how to set this up as a service so that I am also able to access the domain with my wireless card? Thanks in advance,

Christos

Answer : HP COMPAQ NX 6110 WITH INTEL PRO WIRELESS 2200BG DOES NOT LOGON TO DOMAIN

Your have to let Windows handle your wireless card instead of the Intel client so that it can connect to your network without being logged into Windows itself. Check out http://www.jetta.com/WIRELESSTIPS.asp ... this should put you in the right direction.
