Question : Setting up HP Jetdirect

I am trying to add a network printer to my Windows 2000 domain - using a HP Jetdirect box.

When I press the test button to get the TCP/IP details a printout advises me ..
IP : 168.217.6.10
SUBNET MASK : 255.255.255.0
DEF. GATEWAY : 168.217.6.254

I need to change these details to integrate with my network to ..
IP : 192.168.0.10
SUBNET MASK : 255.255.255.0
DEF. GATEWAY : 192.168.0.1

My clients are connecing to a hub using 192.168.0.1 default gateway.

I have downloaded and installed Web Jetadmin software from HP and it advises to use
http://joker:8000 to configure   <---joker is the name of the domain controller I installed on.
This config page loads fine but im not to sure how to proceed next.

Am I going in the right direction as I can't seem to locate exactly where to change the network settings for the HP jetdirect box.

Thanks in advance for your assistance :)

Answer : Setting up HP Jetdirect

Open HP Web Jetadmin 7.x

If the TCP/IP address is already configured on the HP Jetdirect print server and needs to be changed, enter the TCP/IP address in Quick Device Find, and click GO. Skip to Step 6.

For new HP Jetdirect print servers that have not been configured with a TCP/IP address, proceed to Step 3.

From the Navigation box, select Device Management.

Expand the Device Management folder.

Expand the Device Lists folder.

Highlight New Devices.

Click the column header of your choice, such as IP Address or Device Model.Arrange the list by ascending or descending order.

Highlight the printer to be configured.

From the Device Tools drop-down menu, select Open Device.

From the drop-down menu at the top, select Configuration.

Under Configuration Categories located on the top left side, Click Network.

Enter the IP information. You may scroll down for more options.

Click Apply to save the settings.

Click the Refresh icon located on the top right of the screen.

Verify the IP information by doing the following:

Print a Configuration page from the printer's front panel.

Select Status from the drop-down menu.
