Question : Compaq C310 WLAN button is not working

Hi,

I was using the laptop Compaq C310 model. Recently the WLAN button on the laptop stopped working. Even if I press and hold the button for longer period, the WLAN doesnt enable or glows. Could this be an hardware issue? Or could this be issue with enabling the BIOS for WLAN ?

Pls help in resolving the problem.

Answer : Compaq C310 WLAN button is not working

*Check the BIOS for wireless switch settings.
*Check the device manager to see if it appears in there

If both are good, then i would say its a hardware fault.
or is the switch potentially broken?
