Question : The format of the specified domain name is invalid in WIN XP to a Server 2003?

I have a 3 brand new DELL Optiplex I'm trying to connect to a local WIN server 2003. The first 2 have the same results and haven't try the 3rd one yet.   I can certainly browse and ping the local network but would not connect to the domain.  I'm using the CORRECT administrator account and password to access this domain.  I've also tried assigning a fixed ip address, Mask, gateway, and DNS SERVER IP address.  Any thoughts?

Activate netbios over tcp/ip and try with SCATUI. And verify the LAN connection's TCP/IP properties for DNS suffix for this connection to be correct (scatui.local). Maybe this was the error. Don't forget to synchronize the clock (date and time) of the workstation with the one of the server before joining.
