Question : Client always locked out in AD

I've run into this problem a couple of times before. Our server is running Windows Server 2003 and clients are running XP Pro. I have thsi one user who got locked out of her domain account. it was probably from too many logon attempts). so i reset her account and as soon i tried to log her on (using her account logon) her account was locked again. So i reset her account again but it continued to be locked out. To try to troubleshoot this problem I tried to log on (with her account) on a different client machine and it worked fine. No problems. So obviously it's somethign to do with her machine. I took her machine off the domain and then rejoined the domain and unlocked her account - still didn't work. i then renamed her machine and unlocked her account - she was still locked out. I'm just guessing on how to fix this because i don't really know what's causing her to be locked out.

thanks!!

Answer : Client always locked out in AD

Another thing you might try is creating a new Profile for her on the Client System..  You will have to copy her existing Profile over to the new one, but that is easy, so it should not be hard to test this...
