Question : AIX 4.3.3 routing tables
I have a small problem with my routing table in AIX. we have recently changed our default gateway from .254 to .253 and I have used route change -host ***.***.***.*** ..... to sucessfully change the routes.
However when I reboot the server, the old routing table is loaded again.
1. Is there a physical file where the routing info is stored.
2. Would it better to use the chdev -l inet0 -a route=net,***.***.***.***,
***.***.**
*.***,1 command to alter the routing table.
3. Anything else you feel may be useful in getting this sorted.
Regards Mike
