Question : IDEATA.HAM error message when trying to install Novell Netwear 6.5
Trying to install Novell Netwear 6.5 on a new HP Proliant DL380 G5 with a HP SMart Array E200/128 card. I go through the install fine but once it starts to load drivers I receive the following error - the following driver instance failed to load and will be deleted: Z:\Drivers\IDEATA.HAM Slot = 10041 (the device supported by the driver may be disabled) If I continue past this message the server reboots and when it comes back up it looks like I am in a dos based novell (no gui). I also tried downloading a new version of IDEATA.HAM and adding it via a floppy when I received that error message but it says it's searching the floppy and it may take a few minutes but that message never goes away. I let it run for like 5 minutes before I manually rebooted the server. I am new to Novell so I don't know if I am doing this right or not. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance
