Question : how to expand the ip range of network

hi guys i have the ip subnet of a site which gives me only 30 hosts but now i want to expand the hosts from 30 to 40 or 50 how can i do it,

also i have cisco pix which connects site together and also to head office

so please let me know what is the best way to do it.

Basically, you need to recreate the subnet. For example, you are using a subnet of 255.255.255.224. If there are not any subnets above or below it, you need to change it to 255.255.255.192. This would give you 62 usable host. If these are being issued from a DHCP server, then you delete the subnet on your DHCP server and recreate it with that subnet. Then you must also change the subnet on any device you have a static address on. This change will also need to occur on all routers the route traffice to this subnet.
